Kaya Regeneration Therapy is a unique bodywork modality though which, the practitioner applies heated Herbal oil formulations to the skin using specially made pouches. This modality facilitates stress relief, relaxation and rejuvenation of the body, mind and spirit. Similar to some other forms of bodywork, Kaya Regeneration can also promote physical and emotional detoxification. The following guidelines are provided to help you understand the physical needs of your body after the session and how to handle any emotional release that you may experience following the relief of stress, which proceeds the rejuvenation that is promoted by Kaya Regeneration Therapy.

(1) When involved in three or more consecutive Kaya Regeneration Therapy sessions, it is ideal to take a week off from work and remain in a completely relaxed mode throughout the series of sessions. Physical and mental exertion place energy demands on the body which, take energy away from your body's detoxification, rejuvenation and revitalization process.

(2) If you are unable to take a week off from your work, try to rest and relax as much as you can after working hours. Please go to bed no later than 10:00 PM each night and when possible, take short naps during the day, if you feel tired. The detoxification, rejuvenation and revitalization effects of Kaya Regeneration Therapy can be intense. Following initial feelings of bliss, it is normal to experience some fatigue as your body uses its energy for rejuvenation. It is also normal to experience some recurring pain or symptoms of existing or past physical or emotional imbalance. Symptoms related to a past imbalance are generally mild to moderate and, of short-term duration. Symptoms of an existing imbalance may be persistent and, medical or spiritual support may be required to facilitate your unique healing process. Please honor the needs of your body, mind and spirit by obtaining assistance, treatment or care from qualified, licensed practitioners as appropriate, during this time.

(3) It is normal to experience minor emotional distress in the form of short-term increased irritability, anger or sadness after Kaya Regeneration Therapy. This is considered to be healthy emotional release of cellular memory traumas, especially if it occurs during the second half of a treatment. Please practice deep breathing to maintain emotional grounding. In India, couples are typically separated from each other while they are attending sessions to avoid conflict, which often disrupt the rejuvenation process. Note: it is usual to experience long-term, uncontrollable emotional distress following Kaya Regeneration Therapy. In the event that you have such an experience, you should seek advice and/or treatment from a licensed physician.

(4) As with other detoxification methods such as fasting and internal cleansing, Kaya Regeneration Therapy can promote the elimination of toxic cellular debris, which can also cause irritability. This is not an adverse affect. Instead, it is sometimes called retracting, where regenerated tissues replace old, damaged ones. You should eat fresh, healthy, nourishing food with appropriate amounts of proteins, carbohydrates and good fats during this time to support your body's rejuvenation process. Please remember to chew your foods well to promote efficient digestion and absorption of nutrients.

(5) You may experience increased appetite following your sessions. If so, be certain to honor your body's need for nutrients by eating properly. Do not skip meals or ignore your hunger signals. Please be mindful however, of a few dietary changes that are necessary, following Kaya Regeneration Therapy. First, avoid citrus fruits and juices (lemons, limes, oranges and grapefruits) and other acidic foods for the duration of your series of sessions. Other foods and beverages to avoid red meats, alcohol, caffeinated rinks and sodas.
